Help us Build the Virtual Museum of Printing
This project is an innovation in the communication of printing history: no collaborative museum of printing heritage artefacts in the British Isles currently exists. A virtual museum will make many dispersed collections more easily accessible to a broader audience.
What we do
The Virtual Museum will share collections and enable a range of digital interactions: virtual demonstrations by practitioners; exhibitions curated from collections; discussions involving experts and working designers who can use the holdings of the Virtual Museum as examples.
The Virtual Museum of Printing aspires to appeal to visitors of all ages, from primary school children onwards. It will be a tool for researchers, and a source of information, entertainment, and inspiration. It will have an international reach and be freely accessible to all.
